For some reason I stumbled upon The Judys this weekend. This is a band from Houston that I would describe as Basement Nerd Punk. Not sure if that is an actual genre, but that is what the music sounds like to me. Craig introduced this band to me and Chris when we were in Junior High and it has been a source of humor for us as we have gotten older. This Saturday, Craig and I will be hanging out and it is my goal to record a guitar version of one of my favorite Judys song with the hope that after drinking several beers I can convince Craig to sing. Assuming things go well, I will post the finished product here for all to enjoy.
